During the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty. A young man named Fan Deqin developed a deep interest in herbal medicine from an early age. He loved observing the plants in nature, studying their medicinal properties. Carrying an old medicine
basket on his back, he walked briskly yet resolutely along the winding mountain paths, driven by a simple yet profound dream: to heal the suffering of people using the power of Chinese herbs. Fan traveled tirelessly between villages, treating the sick without regard for time or compensation, especially for those gravely ill. His only wish was for those enduring pain to recover swiftly.
Fan was not born a natural healer. One fateful day, while practicing medicine in the Ailao Mountains, he encountered a reclusive hermit named Gao Yunshan. From Gao, he gained profound insights into the medicinal knowledge of the region’s ethnic
minorities, deepening his understanding of the spirit of plants and the art of healing.
As Fan’s skills grew, so did his reputation. Eventually, destiny presented him with a golden opportunity. At the time, a powerful and charitable Yunnan nobleman, Wang Zhi, was well-known for his immense wealth and philanthropic pursuits. He admired Fan’s medical skills and compassionate heart and decided to fund him to establish his own medical clinic to improve local healthcare.
Fan named the clinic “Dian He Tang,” symbolizing the grace and freedom of a celestial crane, embodying the ideals of healing and altruism. He continued his medical practice, helping more people and passing on the wisdom of traditional herbal medicine.
As time flowed by, a hundred years later, the spirit of Dian He Tang lived on in modern urban centers, evolving into a well-known Chinese brand specializing in prostate health treatments. Building on the foundation of Dian He Tang, the modern brand Zeroality emerged. Zeroality not only inherited the spirit of Dian He Tang but also preserved Fan
Deqin’s precious herbal formulas, refining and optimizing them using modern scientific techniques.
The legacy of Dian He Tang shines anew in the modern era, as Zeroality continues the story and keeps the dream alive, blending tradition and innovation in an enduring pursuit of healing and wellness.

Traditional Medicine Begins in China
The Zhou Dynasty begins writing comprehensive texts on herbal remedies. These are some of the first examples of early treatment through natural herbs.

Discovery in Yunnan
Some of the first natural herbs—including tea—are discovered in the province during the Shang Dynasty. Some are found to reduce pain, calm the senses, and bring together a sense of peace.
Yunnan quickly becomes a vital herbal source for everything from medicine to agriculture, thanks to its unique climate and incredibly fertile ecosystem.

Our hospital in Yunnan was founded by Deqing Fan, an
innovative and unconventional individual who lived two centuries ago.
Deqing dedicated his life to unraveling the secrets of nature and helping others. Zeroality represents not only the inheritance of his advancements in technology, but also the continuation of his remarkable spirit. It lives on today as we continue to treat and heal patients using ancient and natural Chinese remedies.
